IDS has designed and developed a practical tool to help customer support personnel update and maintain SQL databases. The objective is to synchronize client SQL databases with the newly updated SQL database structure and setup records. The tool does not require any particular expertise in SQL database management utilities and programs; it allows the user to interactively select the actions needed to be performed on the target database with respect to a template database. The process involved updating fields, tables, stored procedures, views, triggers, and so on.
