IDS won a bid with ILO to design and develop a user-friendly digital platform and mobile application which allow online job matching for care work using innovative technology. The platform is to be used by companies, candidates, and MOL CMS users.
This Digital Care platform aims to facilitate job matching between workers and employers in care-related jobs as cleaning, cooking, childcare, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities. The main objective of the platform is to create job opportunities and limit the damage from weak policy protection and the absence of an organized approach in the employment of domestic and care workers. The platform also increases the capacity of MOL to develop fair and effective mechanisms to provide services that respond to the needs of employers and workers in the care sector.
Features and Functionalities:
- The CMS enables the creation of roles. Each role consists of multiple permissions. The level of any permission consists of viewing, adding, editing, deleting, publishing, attaching documents, and having access to a file or record. MOL users will have access to data based on their roles and permissions.
- Employer and Candidate Registration Form which is secured by a CAPTCHA and the password satisfies strong password conditions
- Module that allows employers to post jobs
- Module that allows candidates to search for jobs
- Automatic job matching with email and SMS notifications.
- Providing multiple reports that display data based on a wide range of predefined filter
- Ability to integrate with third-party applications since the solution is designed and structured as a multi-layer application using API structure (web services)
- The mobile application has the feature of push notification used to notify registered users about any new job or profile
