In March 2021, IDS won a bid to redesign and develop LPDC website. The project involved a revamp of LPDC website, by addressing and improving navigation paths on the front end of the site, to make it easier for visitors/Partners to find relevant content, and to increase engagement with public and selected audience. LPDC is currently working on expanding its communication strategy, the new website assists the project to reach better results by delivering a better visibility of the existing material.
Some of the website features are:
- Dynamic CMS
- Maps and charts visualization created from the CMS
- Public users can create dynamic charts and maps to view customized data
- Ability to download search results as PDF
The project also involved creation of a Staff and Partners Directory, built on LPDC internal SharePoint platform.
The Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee (LPDC), is an inter-ministerial government body formed by Lebanese Council of Ministers’ decision 89/2005. Its mission is to implement the policies of the Lebanese government towards Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. It also coordinates work with UNRWA through PLO, Lebanese and Palestinian counterparts and civil society to achieve its mission.
