On the occasion of International Volunteers Day, the Ministry of Social Affairs launched the “Nahno Volunteers” digital platform—Lebanon’s largest ecosystem connecting youth with safe, inclusive, and impactful volunteering opportunities. Introduced in collaboration with UNICEF Lebanon, ANERA, and Live Love Beirut, the platform aims to empower young people across the country to engage meaningfully in their communities.
As part of this national initiative, IDS contributed its technical expertise to enhance and strengthen the platform. Our team developed new features, implemented additional improvements to the web portal, and built the NAHNO mobile application, ensuring a seamless and accessible experience for youth throughout Lebanon.
During the launch event, Ms. Abeer Abou Zaki, UNICEF's Adolescents and Youth Development and Participation Specialist, and Ms. Mona Naseredine, Head of the Volunteer Department at the Ministry of Social Affairs, expressed their appreciation for IDS’s technical contribution and the collaborative effort that supported the platform's success.
IDS is proud to support a project that empowers young people, fosters civic engagement, and strengthens the culture of volunteering across Lebanon.
